As weird as it might seem, I am more excited for tomorrow's 5K than I have been for any of the other ones I have done all season. Maybe it's cause this one has a fun underlying theme to it; maybe cause I have trained very well recently and am anticipating doing the bestest in this one..I dunno. But whatever it is, I'm pumped.
Today was a take-it-easy day. Girl and I spent some of the afternoon walking around Cherry Creek Mall and whatnot, and also over to Outdoor Diva's to pick up our race packets. Tonight we swam, nothing major, probably around 250 meters, and I relaxed in the steam room for a few minutes.
I'm pumped for tomorrow. We have a game plan for the day; hopefully it works out!
